Pomona, California — An athletic colt from the second foal crop of nationally ranked freshman sire Mo Donegal commanded $90,000 from buyer Dennis O’Neill to lead the Milky Way Farm consignment at the 2026 Fasig-Tipton California Fall Yearlings Sale conducted in Pomona on September 30.
Offered as the only yearling in the sale by the 2022 Belmont Stakes (G1) winner by Uncle Mo, the dark bay / brown colt is the second foal out of Examination, a Pioneerof the Nile half-sister to G2 winner / G3 producer Ready to Act whose first foal is a multiple winner this year in Panama. Hollywood Gold Cup (G1) winner Mast Track is also in his immediate pedigree.
The youngster was bred in California by Milky Way Farm owner Linda Madsen.
His purchase amount ranked as the seventh-highest price for all colts at the auction, and the 14th-highest price overall.
Fasig-Tipton reported an average price of $35,224 and a median price of $15,000 for the 139 horses sold during the single session at Fairplex.
